Yet another jackass…

Well, today after work I was checking in on one of my many favorite MILBLOGS, Jack Army. If you head on over to Jack Army, and read “Leaving on a jet plane”. Check out the comments, and you’ll find a post from some jackass calling us, the protectors of freedom and our supporters, Amerinazis. Seems this guy, Dean Berry, has been studying with the folks over at the Westboro Baptist Church. And then this idiot has the nerve to call himself a “REAL American”. Just in case the post is taken off of Jack Army, I’ll post it here so you can all read it over.

I am so glad that I am over here in Iraq and not in the states right now. with these kind of people poluting the airways and media with thier unAmerican crap, I am afraid I just want to pelt them with rotten eggs and any other disgusting thing I can find. They make me very angry. My son is not a murder and neither is any other soldier. How can this ‘man’ call him self a Christian?
This kind of rhetoric makes me sick. There are alot of people in this world who say they are christians when in fact they are working for the devil and this man sounds like he’s one of them as well as the Westboro Baptist Church.
If it weren’t for our military, this man and all like him would be speaking another language and would be under the rule or thumb of some dictator like Saddam Insane! :shock:

If we went to Iraq to steal their oil, how come the price goes up with our plenty and not down??

I love what Jay said because he’s exactly right. We owe so many Thank yous to our military that we will never get them all said and the “crazies” should indeed be in a mental institution!
Ok, this is a vey divresatile area. If you are a bible believing person, yes the word of GOd is true, every single word. If not then I do not know what to say…except believe what you want. But… there is an old saying what goes around comes around. If we blow something up that was not right, then we have to ? when something of ours is blown up. Every one knows tha “what goes around, comes around” or vice verus: YOu reap what you sow” as the word of God states. Now are we really fighting over gas prices? BIG ? Especially when you visit just graduated soldiers & you ask them “what their nmame is & they give you their rank & roster 3. It will make you stop & think. I ask again, this time telling them I fif not want their rank & # that they are ALL individuals w/ God given names, as I am a FIRM believer in the word of God. You will get their names, after rank & #’s. But the ? is Are we fighting for “PRICES”? Well you ask them & they give you a story, & if you see through it & look @ them & tell them : “Ok, enogh w/ what you are supposed to answer w/, now give me the TRUTH!” They will look @ you not 1 out 0f 10, but 8 out of 10 are gonna tell you, ” well maim, the honest, straight truth.” Yes I reply, “I want the hardcore TRUTYH & nothing else!” Answer “Well maim, that would be …..(stuttered) Me: well give it to me!!?? Maim, they tell us to keep the gas prices down”. I am NOT agreeing w/ the baptist @ all. I am only saying that new soldiers, this is their answer. And so far the count on these ansewrs is in the hundreds. Now in regards to the baptist, he really should re-evaluate his faith. ?Because God would not want in MY opinion for a soldier to be addressed or spoke to in that matter. There were wars that are stated in the bible, not all of them were right, BUT they still occured. The problem w/ any, ANY religion today is people judge wrongly & open their mothes @ times when they should be shut & kept to themselves, & that falls under lack of self discipline & wrong interprtation of the word of God. Yes it does state that leaders will be judges more harshly for their actions. But again, I say AGAIN we ..WE are not the Jusdge, only God the Father is. The lst thing he needs is a hater that claims to be a man of God running around spitting out words. Our soldiers are specail people regardless of whether it is “Gas Prices” or not. And should be treated w/ the utmost respect, bc somewhere they have an Officer they anmswer to also. Everyone in the end answers to God, not anyone else. On;y The King of Kings himself. I apologize on behalf of the God fearing believing people. Our soldieers a syourself go through a life that we as Civilians could NEVER undersand, until we step into your shoes. Until that day I really do not think in MY Opinion again, only mine…”That we have the right to ? the actions of any soldier. Hell if I gad to go through what a soldier has to go through I would probably be not only a mess, BUt an ALCOHOLIC. Someone I Love w/ ALL my heart is serving right now, do I agree with the fight @ the moment..NO! BUt I support my soldier & All soldiers. YOur job is a job that no onther could imagine.!!!!!!!! Whether it be right or wrong…is not the case here. The case @ hand is we should be more than grateful to all of you, for the job you are doing. Hell it’s not me, I could not handle it! The baptist? Only a bad representation of all christains. BUT…WE aRe not all like that. We may not agree w/ all the fighting, But We as a people elected the ELECT to run our country, & then it is ironic how we ? the job they are doing. we sit in our ac/heating, comfortable beds, comfy poffice chair & act as if nothing is going on. When we should be showing you the respect & concern you deserve!I want my baby home, but as long as this world is intact, bc of all the diverities, there will never be peace. There will never be peace in this world. BUt that does not make it right for someone to judge someone sles. It is misrepresentation & lack of commincation that has gotten us to this point. Ii have my own opinions & am grateful to have the opportunity to address them. But But in expressing those opinions is my choice, now the reprocutions..ALSO are my choice. I must take them as easily as I made the choice to share them. Tell that to your baptist, & also ask him to rexamine his heart. Because God is not to be mocked. He can sort it out w/out our help & much better! Ask him this: Do you enjoy your comfy chair in the AC/Heating? then tell him: “well it is because of my service that you have your comfy life!!!!!!” Thankyou, for your service!!!! I may not agree :wink:w/ it all, but I APPRECIATE everyone of you fighting for our country.
